• The life of a Watcher is a perilous one. Your mysterious power to see and talk to the souls of the dead provides you with truths that would otherwise remain buried – but your power also drives you to seek answers: how did you become a Watcher? Why? To uncover the mystery, you must set off on a challenging but rewarding role-playing adventure in a rich fantasy setting. Craft your character with deep customization tools, recruit party members with unique personalities, and explore every inch of a massive world packed with history and lore. The paths you choose and the choices you make will shape your destiny and define who you become.
  Sculpt your own story. You are the Watcher, a being with the supernatural ability to talk to the souls of the dead and see the past lives of the living. Create your character from one of six races, then choose to play as one of 11 different classes, each with unique skills and playstyles. As you play, you'll have to side with various factions and make critical decisions, and many of your actions and choices have far-reaching consequences that affect the outcome of your story.
  Explore a rich and diverse world. The world of Eora is packed with history, an engaging story, and memorable characters that bring it all to life. As such, this rich setting encourages and rewards exploration. Seek adventure in gorgeous, unique environments that are brimming with life, hidden dungeons, and story elements that will make your experience all the more epic.
  Engage in intense, strategic combat. When it comes time to let your sword and spells do the talking, Pillars of Eternity's tabletop RPG-inspired combat system offers immense challenge and reward. Each of the 11 playable classes has loads of unique abilities, and because you control a party of six characters, you have a lot of tools at your disposal. Pause combat, issue commands strategically, then resume the fight and watch your enemies – or your heroes – fall.
